These SGS students have completed 100% of their grade level Mathematics using the St Math computer program. ST Math® is an engaging Math computer program which encourages students to use reasoning abilities to explain, understand, and solve multi-step math problems. SGS students have access to the program at school and at home. Some of the benefits of the program include: using visuals to teach math concepts, aligning concepts to state standards, increasing Math test scores, using game-like concepts to engage students, reaching students at all levels of learning, training students in multi-step problem solving, allowing students to work at their own pace which makes teaching easier and more productive. The goal of the program is for students to complete 75% of program at their grade level. These students have exceeded their goals! We are very proud of them.
